TORONTO ANTIHATE.CA and ANTIFA - Part 2
COINCIDENCES – ANTIHATE.CA, ANTIFA, and 52nd DIVISION
I am not a great believer in coincidences, especially the over-the-top variety. On January 11th 2024 I was handed arrest papers issued by 52nd Division of the Toronto Police Service. That got my attention... here’s why.

This hearing was initiated at the request of EVAN BALGORD who is on the Board of Directors of ANTIHATE.CA. Evan did not attend the hearing, but BERNIE FARBER Chairman of the Board of ANTIHATE.CA did, accompanied by a lawyer and a bodyguard. During the first half of the hearing I sat in the audience in the row directly in front of Bernie and his lawyer and beside his bodyguard.

Faith had described this event as a Fishing Trip, so I brought along my Fishing Rod. The bodyguard did not like that and threatened to break it. That threat was witnessed by Derek Horne who was sitting the front row. The hearing was videographed by Rick Boswick of Ottawa, with assistance from Ed Jamnisec, a frequent attendee of protests at Dundas Square and Queen’s Park Toronto. Little of note occurred during the hearing, but someone did steal my fishing rod. Someone, likely a very junior member of ANTIFA, later posted on Twitter claiming credit for stealing the Fishing Rod. I replied that it was actually just BAIT.

Fast-forward now to June 9, 2019 date of the so-called Eaton’s Centre riot. The protests that day were documented by the CBC, Rick Boswick, Derek Storie, and Wayne Peters of the WHAT’S UP CANADA podcasts. In that earlier SubStack article I describe how Ed and myself were attacked that day. Police reports were filed at 52nd Division of TPS but nothing ever came of that. It did trigger a series of subsequent events that appear to be ongoing.

First Kevin Melcalf, a well-known member of Toronto ANTIFA, laid charges against Rick for ‘Uttering a threat’. Rick was really PI$$ED at the time and he may have done that.

ANTIHATE.CA’s interest in the above continued, and it posted several articles mentioning Rick, Ed, and myself. Here are a few of them.

Regarding the above … In 2023 Jonathan Kay, a very well-known PostMedia journalist published an article noting the very close relationship that seemed to exist between ANTIHATE.CA and ANTIFA. Bernie Farber of ANTIHATE sued, however the Judge agreed that Jonathan’s assertion was accurate.

If you do not already know, by now you should be interested to know who the Hell this ANTIHATE.CA organization is. In my opinion it has a very well-defined function. First note that it is object of generous contributions from the Government of Canada, as well as the Extremely WOKE US-based Southern Poverty Law Conference (SPLC).

· Legacy MSM organizations often come across topics that they’d like to talk about, but they are perhaps a little ‘too controversial’.
· That’s where ANTIHATE fits in.
· ANTIFA publishes an article that MSM can then quote, and avoid any blame it if subsequently blows up.

ANTIHATE.CA also has close links to ARCollective organization. That’s an Internet site where ANTIFA types often hang out. A few years ago this ‘anti-racist collective’ was run by Kurt Phillips who is a now member of ANTIHATE.CA’s board …

ANTIHATE.CA is a ‘non for profit organization’. My impression of what that means is that once Bernie Farber and Evan Balgord have paid their expenses and what they believe is a fair salary for their contributions the remainder of their donations go to what they deem are worthy efforts. Bernie owns a nice home in Thornhill, and at last record Evan owns one in Oakville. Richard Warman another board member lives in Ottawa, Kurt Phillips lives in Drumheller Alberta, and Peter Smith is a Vancouver-based journalist.

I do not understand the relationship that exists between 52nd Division and ANTIHATE.CA. It may be that staff there just spend way too much time reading ANTIHATE.CA articles.

OK now we are F*CKED. VIRANI wants to appoint Judges who are more DIVERSE.

Virani said one of the first briefings he received in his new job was on judicial vacancies. One of the issues the government is dealing with is a shortage of applicants, he said.

"That's a bit frustrating when we want to appoint judges [who are] also reflective of the diversity of Canada, which is important to me and important to the prime minister," he said.

The federal government appoints judges to the federal courts, the superior courts of the provinces and territories and the Supreme Court of Canada.

A spokesperson for Virani's office said that as of Sept. 1, there will be 77 vacancies out of roughly 1,200 federally appointed judicial spots. The spokesperson said that vacancies remain elevated due to a large number of retirements.

"Minister Virani will continue to make high quality diverse appointments and the number of vacancies will decline," the spokesperson said in a media statement. They added Virani has now appointed 18 judges since he was sworn in as justice minister.

Does DIVERSE mean that fewer of them will be individuals who have donated to the Liberal Party of Canada ???

They, the Truckers and their Supporters are suing ANTIHATE.CA. and its CEO Bernie Farber specifically. There are very few in Canada more deserving than Bernie, and his fellow ANTIHATE Director Evan Balgord.
